Therefore, it is no surprise that PitGreens interactive concept won the special price “Innovations in Sports Gear” of the Nike Play Awards 2004. The ergonomic design convinced as well the jury of the DDC Award and was rewarded with the award “good design” in 2005.

Through an accurate mechanism, powerful shots and smooth puts will be played on the green – of course, a little bit flair is required. Important for an exact game: The ball will act like in a real match outside. Even on flat grounds, the ball will stop immediately, PitGreens developer created an atmosphere as realistic as possible. For a safe stand while putting, the worldwide first micro golfer has glue soles under the stylish feet.

Like in a real game, for each shot the player has to choose the right golfclub. PitGreen has Driver, Iron, Wedge and Putter in his bag. Those golf clubs can be exchanged easily.

A serrated sprocket made out of fibre-reinforced is the core of the steel and brass mechanism. This enables the player to control the shot and transfer his actions directly to PitGreen. Pit Green strikes out and shots – precise, long and high.

In the future, the PitGreen League, PGL, will provide a base for common activities. In the competitions, the players can try to overpass the height record of 3m and the wideness record of 8m.
