Menu Torch

The Menu Torch is designed for all sorts of outdoors use – not just in private gardens but also outside restaurants, cafées and theatres. The torch was designed by Pernille Vea and was awarded for its noble design with the Formland Design Prize in 2001.

Welcoming guests with a row of flaming torches – and sitting outdoors eating surrounded by torches – are old traditions in Denmark. The idea behind the Torch is to extend this tradition into the future by combining classic materials and modern, Scandinavian design.
The tapered body of the lamp enables an easy insertion in a flower bed, in sand or in snow. With the additional clamp, the torch can easily be attached to walls, trees and fences.

The torch can be filled with common lamp oil. The burning time is depending on the charge and the weather. It varies between 15 and 20 hours. The belonging wick which will be delivered has a burning time of approx. 300 hours.
