Collective Tools Parmesan Breaker

The parmesan breaker from the Collective Tools series was created by the designers Antonio Citterio and Glen Oliver Löw for the Finnish design producer iittala in 2000. Just like all Collective Tools products, it impresses by its ergonomic shape of the handle and the high-quality material processing.

Even if the cutlery is already on the table, you always need some additional tools. From pepper mill to bottle opener, from cheese slicer to cutting board and kitchen knives, this toolbox covers everything the host might need in the kitchen. The tools work both individually and as a set. The simple and modern design of these kitchen tools allows you to combine them with any cutlery.

The cheese breaker is especially efficient when it comes to hard cheese varieties, like for example parmesan. It consists of mat brushed stainless steel 18/10. The hollow handle of the knife lies perfectly in the palm of your hand and gives the tool its distinctive look.

The Collective Tools series by the design producer iittala was awarded with the IF-Award (Germany), the Design Plus (Germany), the Red Dot Award (Germany), The Pro Finnish Design Honourable Mention (Finland) and the Good Design Prize (USA).

Please take also notice of the other products from the Collective Tools series by iittala in our shop.
