Collective Tools Bread Knife
The bread knife from the Collective Tools series was created by the designers Antonio Citterio and Glen Oliver Loew for the Finnish design manufacturer Iittala in 2000. Like all Collective Tools products, it is notable for the ergonomic shape of the handle and the high-quality material processing.
Even if the cutlery is already on the table, you always need some additional tools. From pepper mill to bottle opener, from cheese slicer to cutting board and kitchen knives, this toolbox covers everything the host might need in the kitchen. The tools work both individually and as a set. The simple and modern design of these kitchen tools allows you to combine them with any cutlery.
The Collective Tools bread knife consists of mat brushed stainless steel 18/10. The hollow handle can be hold comfortably in the palm of your hand and gives the tool its distinctive look.
The Iittala Collective Tools series was awarded the IF Award (Germany), the Design Plus (Germany), the Red Dot Award (Germany), the Pro Finnish Design Honourable Mention (Finland) and the Good Design Prize (USA).
