Bodum Santos Coffee Maker

The most famous coffee roasters would not disagree that even the highest quality of coffee beans and the most sophisticated roast will not make a good cup of coffee without the right brewing system.

Bodum used more than four decades of experience in the development of coffee machines to finally create the electric vacuum coffee brewer Bodum Santos. The coffee tastes much better than from common coffee makers because the natural coffee aroma does not stick to the coffee filter, but directly back into the jug and thus into the cup.

The special heating system with the aroma-saving temperature regulation is also worth mentioning – ever after two hours the coffee tastes like freshly brewed. The housing of the Santos coffee maker is transparent, so that you can observe how this extraordinary coffee machine presses the boiling water up according to the vacuum principle, mixes it with coffee powder and finally lets the coffee pour back into the jug.

The Santos design was created by Carsten Jürgensen and it was repeatedly awarded design prizes, e.g. the Gold award USA in 2001.
