Cuboglass TV
Cuboglass TV
As the name says, this TV is cubic. Switched off, you cannot really tell what it is. A perfectly quadratic dice of hard, scratch-resistant polished sheet-glass which you would not expect in a living room but in the MoMa! There, in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Modern Arts, you can only find its predecessor, the ST 201, just like the Cuboglass itself, designed by Mario Bellini. The Design of the Cuboglass is based on the ST 201 from 1969. In 1992, in colaboration with Brionvega, Bellini has made a completely new TV.
The Cuboglass's effect is achieved by the perfect crafting. The crystal glass faces are connected by slim perforated metal plates, the facetuous cut is absolutely sheer.
The Cuboglass is strong and elegant at the same time. Inside, it is a high-tech TV.
The big surprise comes when the Cuboglass is switched on. Suddenly a perfectly clear picture appears on the TV's frontsize and a fantastic from the integrated broadband speakers comes a fantastic sound.
