Self watering Flowerpot - large

The best inventions are based on natural principles. This is also how the flowerpot made by the well-known Danish designer Eva Solo works, whose concept rests upon a two-part box.

The flower is placed in a ceramic pot that stands on a glass box serving as water reservoir. In nature, flowers accept the required water amount with the aid of their roots. The same phenomenon happens in this flowerpot made by Tools Design through a bunch of nylon yarns that acts as artificial root. These roots suck the water from the reservoir to the ceramic pot, whereby an equally moist ground is created in which your flower can flourish.

Potted plants like to be taken care of – even when you are on holiday. No problem, due to the natural principle of the pot, the flower will get the required water for the next 7 to 10 days.
