Parentesi floor lamp
Parentesi is Italian for “brackets“ or “to clamp“ and describe besides the name the way how the lamp functions. A steel cable which is “clamped” between ceiling and floor facilitates the regulation of the height of a steel tube where the lamp is fixed. This convenient layout of the light by Achille Castiglioni und Pio Manzù was already made in 1970 but is still more than up-to-date. The innovative mixture of floor lamp and pendular lamp was rewarded with the "Compasso d´Oro" in 1979.
Data:

The net weight is 3 kg.
