Menu Teapot
As serving jars, teapots represent a visual focus and require a good artistic design. Basically, the teapot, designed by Bent Falk for Menu, has an elegant simple shape that is enhanced optically and functionally by the steel handle. Due to the golden colours of the tea, the can gets its tone, depending on the kind of tea.
Gone are the days when you had unpractical tea filters and loose tea eggs – with this can the integrated tea egg can be pulled up in the lid as soon as the tea is ready.
If the teapot is used on hot summer days for juices or ice tea, the tea egg can be removed. The hole that consequently emerges in the lid can be closed with the aid of the rubber corks that are included in delivery. A security cone prevents the lid from falling down when pouring.
The glass insert of the Menu teapot can even be put in the microwave oven if the steel handle is removed.
