The Formland Prize is one of the most treasured distinctions in Denmark and is only given to products of Scandinavian producers. The Formland Prize is the award of the biggest trade fair for applied arts and design in Scandinavia with a high international attendance.
All submitted products are evaluated by an independent committee of experts that nominates a few candidates for the Formland Prize. This award is only given to one single product.
The criterions for the evaluation are originality, functionality, design, choice of material and the price-performance ratio.
As winner of the Formland Prize, the company gets an ideal opportunity for extensive and targeted marketing for the product. Moreover, the winner is given a reward of 100.00,- DKK in a special marketing contribution from the Formland fair.
