Anders Geert is a visionary, full of ideas, conceptually strong, determined and willing to collaborate without losing the focus. Shapes and emotional attractiveness are key interests for him, after having been trained as product designer with core competences in the designing of user interfaces. He is mainly interested in table products, portable and handy utensils, electronic and lifestyle products, each with an innovative perspective.
Regarding his working method, Anders Geert comes off with new ideas and new visions. He identifies the correct ones, evaluates and reviews them in order to create attractive, inspiring, pure and functional products. Moreover, he makes sure that technical details do not appear that visibly to prevent the blurring of the actual meaning. In addition, he unites all the interest groups in common teamwork.
So far, he has worked successfully for Bang & Olufsen, Novo Nordisk, AstraZeneca as well as Cycleurope and therefore, he won the International Interior Design Award in 2000, the IF Design Award in 2001 and the Red Dot Design Award in 2003.
Anders Geert was born in Aarhus, Denmark, on April 11th in 1961. From 1982 to 1984 he attended the technical school in Aarhus where he completed his professional education as construction technician. From 1984 to 1990 he studied at the architecture school in Aarhus and graduated in the division of industrial design. In 1991 he founded the design company Designit ApS with Christian Jørgensen and David Fellah. Today, he is the executive director and senior designer in this company.
